Journal Title：Chinese Herbal Medicines
Chinese Herbal Medicine (quarterly) was founded in 2009 and is the first professional journal in the field of Chinese herbal medicine to be published in English. The purpose and business scope of the publication are to inherit and carry forward the heritage of traditional Chinese medicine, report and reflect on the latest progress in traditional Chinese medicine research, promote the traditional characteristics of Chinese medicine in China, strengthen the exchange of experience in traditional medicine research with countries around the world, build a bridge of understanding and communication between traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine, tradition and modernity, and East and West, and promote the modernization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine.
The purpose of this publication is to provide a forum for the study of Chinese herbal medicine, traditional medicines, and natural products. This journal includes research on the active ingredients and complex formulations of herbs in medicinal resources, phytochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, pharmacokinetics, and therapeutic functions through experiments and clinical trials. Introducing the latest developments in pharmaceutical science to readers is of interest to this journal.
《中草藥》（Chinese Herbal Medicines）（季刊）創(chuàng)刊于2009年，它是中國本草學(xué)領(lǐng)域第一本以英文出版的專業(yè)期刊。辦刊宗旨及業(yè)務(wù)范圍為：繼承和發(fā)揚(yáng)祖國醫(yī)藥學(xué)遺產(chǎn)，報(bào)道和反映中草藥研究最新進(jìn)展，宣揚(yáng)我國中草藥傳統(tǒng)特色，加強(qiáng)與世界各國傳統(tǒng)藥物研究的經(jīng)驗(yàn)交流，在中醫(yī)與西醫(yī)、傳統(tǒng)與現(xiàn)代、東方與西方之間架起一座理解好溝通的橋梁，促進(jìn)中藥現(xiàn)代化、國際化。
該刊目的是為研究中草藥、傳統(tǒng)藥物和天然產(chǎn)品提供一個(gè)論壇。該期刊包括通過實(shí)驗(yàn)和臨床試驗(yàn)對草藥在藥用資源、植物化學(xué)、藥理學(xué)、毒理學(xué)、藥代動力學(xué)和治療功能方面的活性成分和復(fù)雜配方的研究。向讀者介紹藥物科學(xué)的最新進(jìn)展是本期刊的興趣所在。
